Job information
We are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Planner . This is a permanent position with a rotation of 5 working days, 2 days off and compensation including an attractive salary and incentive payment based on performance.
The Planner is responsible for the development and publication of work plans and layouts in accordance with MMG’s maintenance management model. [HU1]
Main responsibilities
- Provide support for the application of [HU2] department, site and company standards;
- Adhere to MMG standards; in particular the A2D (Acquire To Dispose) processes and the main areas of interest:
- Create, establish [HU3] and schedule Maintenance work orders , which enable efficient use of resources, including personnel, contractors, materials and documentation to produce a short term plan and a long term plan, either 12 weeks in advance;
- Set up and communicate precise weekly work schedules [HU4] reflecting all maintenance activities, ensuring they have sufficient resources (materials and labor) and balanced load capacity [HU5] ;
- Update of the parts inventory on the basis of spare parts investigations;
- Ensure that all work orders reported for reprogramming are taken into account for the next available schedule;
- Review Subsequent Notification comments [HU6] to ensure accurate data is collected in the field;
- Participate and prepare the weekly planning meeting to ensure coordination and commitment of resources;
- Continually improve Kinsevere’s maintenance practices to enable efficient maintenance performance;
- Develop standard work step models for recurring work to support effective planning and safe execution;
- Request and manage changes to master data as needed, based on revisions [HU7] of the equipment strategy (as recommended by the improvement department) and identified quality errors;
- Manage expenses within budget and assist in the development of maintenance budgets;
- Use A2D (Aquire to Dispose) KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
Skills
- High level computer skills, including working knowledge of Computer Aided Maintenance Management systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Project or similar, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel or similar and Microsoft Office in general;
- Maintenance engineering skills;
- High level skills in organization, time management, prioritization and effective communication;
- High level of understanding of Technical drawing.
Knowledge
- Common maintenance practices and standards;
- Knowledge of the SAP system, in particular of SAP PM and Master Data objects [HU8] ;
- Understanding of business and financial principles;
- Good understanding of modern methods of managing Health, Safety at Work and the Environment, as well as industry legislation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience
- Significant exposure to maintenance operations in a mineral processing environment.
Qualifications
- Electromechanical Engineer [HU9] or equivalent
